Community Defense Project – offering free / low cost legal support, CDP is a new project aimed at empowering low income community of color in the greater Providence area who have faced police violence and harassment. CDP also aims to train and support CopWatch programs, conduct community education, and help the community heal from police abuse. Queer & Trans Thursdays – a space for LGBTQ and heterosexual youth of color allies (24 and under) to build community, foster coalition building, and organize together to address the intersection of oppressions. After Hourz – a space when PrYSM opens itself up to the community. It is a safe space where everyone can come hang out, play games, dance, or whatever people want to do.
